Marcus Andrew Smith (born May 10th, 1986) better known by his stage name M6 is an unsigned American rapperfrom the untapped market of CO. Recently dropping a new mixtape called “The D Code” Hosted by The Games own DjHaze from Blackwallstreet, proves there is more talent to bring to the game. With over 100,000 downloads in the1st week he is considered to be a driving force in the Mid West bringing new hope to the current state hip hop.M6 is an upcoming rapper who has done many shows and appearances with major artist threw out the USA such as TheGame, Ja rule, Nas, Tech 9, Too Short, Chino XL, and many of your other favorite artist.

Marcus Smith (M6) was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before him and his mom moved to Denver, Colorado whenhe was 14 years old. Coming up hard in and out of shelters for 5 years, he lived with his mother who was addictedto crack cocaine. Dreams seemed out of touch and life was never promised a turn around for young Smith. In hislater life, Marcus found hope in sports. Football was always a twinkle in his eye. Aiming high and settingrushing records at schools he attended coaches and people of the community new that he was blessed with realtalent for the game. Although the skill was there Marcus was lost. Trying to balance sports and the fast lifewith women, alcohol, drugs, cash and trouble, he dropped out of school and continued on a negative path. He soonfound himself in and out of jail. Finally learning the hard way, he was arrested for numerous counts of felonyoffenses and was convicted of three of them. After 4 years Marcus was able to gain his G.E.D and also regain afresh new start to life. He decided to pursue a career in the rap industry.

Studying various influential rap albums, M6 developed a strategy to become a rapper himself. M6 first gainedprominence when he attended a local hip hop show, releasing his first underground album called "Mirazh" with aLocal label (Optimal Ent.) in 2005. Following that was a mixtape “Warning Shots” with guest appearances by StackBundles “RIP“, Blackchild from Murder Inc. Spice One “RIP“ and jadakiss. He made his mark locally and wasstarting to branch out to the nation to capitalize on his growing buzz. M6 continues to release more albums andmixtapes. In November 2008, he released another Mixtape"The D Code". M6 also appeared on other various mixtapesand albums nation wide.

When all said in done M6 is the next rising star in the rap game. Both rapper/producer he continues to makehits until his day comes and the doors open a little more wider. With his creative and unique style, strongdelivery and catchy hooks nothing stands between this strong minded and intelligent man.
