life as a musician started from the age of 10 playing guitar...then moved onto drums at the age of 16...first band were DECOY..then myself and steve swinnerton partnered up for the fisrt time in 1982 in a band called BETWEEN THE LINES...we then took different paths when the band ceased to be... the path i took was to follow the free festival scene which was peaking in the early to mid 80's, the likes of stonehenge, cantlin stone..i was then in a band called STONEBEAT.. the genre was psychedelic punk..we supported the likes of the OZRIC TENTACLES at glastonbury 86 on the travellers stage as well as formby point on merseyside a small free festival FAYRE FOR A HARE..which ran for 3 years Consecutively..i then joined a simalar styled band with ..will greenwood....called BLUE CHEESE FROM SPACE..also we supported the likes of the ozrics at PLANET X in liverpool, and played a festival in the midlands around 1991...i reunited with steve swinnerton in 1992 in a band called THE PRAYER which is now WILD ANIMAL PUPPETS..we have recorded 6 albums in the years gone by and are still playing, recording and writing original material..you can check us out on myspace.com/wildanimalpuppets.....below are my photos of stonehenge free festival 1984 the last one before the powers that be put a stop to it..you can see my pics and more at www.stonehenge.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk or at www.ukrockfestivals.com
