Lypswitch is from the late 80's Hollywood Rock and Roll scene. The band played over 100 shows in Southern California during a 3 year quest for the elusive record contract. MCA flirted with the band and paid for demos in 1989, while other labels kept a distant interest. In 1990, the band sold out many Hollywood clubs, including the Whisky and Roxy on the Sunset Strip. In May of 1991, the band broke up when lead vocalist Danny Whaley left the band for good. But now the legend lives on via The VR Underground....
