About Me

I am a fun loving person who is busy, busy, busy. I work 2 jobs, go to college full time, and I'm a full-time single mom raising two beautiful little girls. Life is crazy and will be for 2 more years, until I'm done with my degree, but I wouldn't change anything. I'm finally fulfilling my dream of going to college. I made some extremely bad choices after high school--so I got a late start on the things that I want to accomplish in life. I am currently single by choice--although I am starting to re-evaluate my decision about that. My Interests

I love to hang out with my friends (and you never know what we might be doing.) I like music, reading, movies, and almost anything outdoors. You know, the same stuff that most people are interested in.

I'd like to meet:

People who can inspire me in any way. You never know what you have to offer someone (and the world)so believe in who you are and what you can accomplish in life.I have also been on a nostalgic trip down memory lane here lately. I am trying to track down old friends from high school and the first couple of years after high school. I've lost touch with almost everyone from that time period. Thanks to myspace I have found a couple of them but I am still searching for a few others._ ..___

Music:

Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas (solo), Fergie, Pink, Everclear, and HIM to name just a few. I love all kinds of music, everything but rap (sorry to all the rap/hip-hop lovers.) :-) I do have a special love for 80's music and my ALL TIME favorite band is !!!!!

Movies:

I like to watch a wide variety of movies. What I want to watch depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Overall, I have to say that I enjoy everything but musicals.

Television:

I don't watch very much TV. Even if I had enough free time to watch it, my girls have it claimed most of the time. When I do take time out of my day to just sit down and veg out, I like CSI (all of them) and Law & Order (all of them.)

Books:

Mysteries--anything suspenseful that can keep my attention. I read a lot of books by Andrew Vauchss, Mary Higgins Clark, Tom Clancy, and Dean Koontz. But I read a lot of books by authors I've never heard of before or since. There is a lot of untapped talent out there in the literary world.

Heroes:

My mom: she is the strongest person I know. She has always been the rock that I can count on when life gets out of control. She has been through a whole lot in her life but it has only made her stronger. When I was young I always swore up and down that I would never be like my mother. Now that I'm older, smarter, and wiser, I realize that she is exactly the type of person I want to become.
