Formerly signed with Brazil and Wilmington Cast was to big of a force to be confined to A non-transitional establishment, he then along with (cousin) chase as well as a few supportive friends ventured out in hopes to make there mark on the music scene with Block Administration E.n.t. With mix tapes like Compton Life, Brazil st. Hustlas and We Do It For The Hood under his belt Cast has already locally established a name for himself; Currently working on the album Administrative Decision under Block Administration Ent. Along with Chase, Cast says listeners should look to expect “a very diverse album with a political tone that also lets u walk in the shoes of the artist, from songs like Candy paint that show a more flashy and fun side to songs like Watchin which take u through the everyday suspicions of trusts and questioning loyalty,†Well it’s safe to say this rapper isn’t one to be slept on, with his cool swag and unattainable style Cast is sure to be an original creator as well as trend setter.
CHASE
Hailing from the streets of Compton California comes the self-proclaimed, “NEXT BEST THINGâ€. His name is Jamal McDaniel, better known to his peers as Chase. The 23 year old ex-street corner hustler turned to music after his meeting with at that time future Interscope recording artist Spit Fiya. Who at that time attended the same high school and encouraged him to take his music seriously. Since becoming friends at that point he helped him transform his natural freestyle ability to creative song writing. After graduating high school and a brief attendance at a local junior college, he came to the realization that he had a talent for song writing and decided with influence from his older brother to take it to the next level. This next level would be to record a project. He began so by recording mix tapes with up and coming artists such as Scan (Ground Up Ent.) who appears on his latest effort the “Loud and Clear†mix tape hosted by D.J. Vlad the Butcher. Prior to that feature Chase was invited by a close friend (Kevin Reed) to rap for at that time growing superstar “The Game,†and his older brother “Big Fase Hundred†who were already close associates with his older brothers, they were impressed by his raw talent and skill. After his “hood audition†the Game further presented him to Fase among others and received enthusiastic thumbs ups and head nods in acceptance of his abilities. Later that evening he was invited to join The Game’s imprint of “The Black Wallstreetâ€. During the brief stint with Game, Chase made appearances on projects outside of the camp such as “Hala The Hustla’s (Gain Green Records) The Buzz 3â€, Scan’s “Ground Up Liveâ€, and a couple of other projects by local artists.
Noticing rap music was not paying off in the time expected, Chase left the Black Wall Street to return to what he knew best “hustlingâ€. After a few months off the radar Chase was once again invited by Kevin Reed this time as a writer to assist him with his own project. Once again on Brazil Street lending a hand with his friend’s project, he was noticed to not have slipped in his talent and was further invited to become apart of a new development there called “Brazil Street Recordsâ€. Lead by none other than the Game’s elder brother Big Fase Hundred.
Returning back to Brazil Street with a refined flow and a new passion to prove himself, this time, he did not come alone. No this time he brought along with him his younger cousin Victor McDaniel also known as “Broadcastâ€. The Baltimore bred rhyme animal with the slow flow which Chase likes to call “Hip Hop’s Futureâ€. They both appear on Games ex-protégé, “Yung Life's" solo mixed tape “Compton Life." Later they each appeared on the follow up project titled “Brazil Street Hustlas†which debuted and displayed the talents of the entire Brazil Street Records roster. After great success and praise from the Internet and the streets, they began each to record solo projects. Do to a contract negotiation disagreements they parted ways with the company. With a new situation and group album, which contains him and Broadcast, titled “Administrative Decisions†under “The Block Administration Ent.†Chase is finally ready to make his presence felt on a worldwide scale. “COMPTON STAND UPâ€!!!!!
