About Me

I was born in 1970. Started up listening to Hardrock & Metal in 1979. My need for more brutal & faster stuff started up with the first two VENOM LP's in 1982. 1984 DESTRUCTION, METALLICA, HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST & BATHORY followed just to name a few. 1985 I listened for the first time to KREATOR, SLAYER EXODUS & POSSESSED! In December 2002 I have married my girlfriend Jea. February 2004 our daughter Alva Runa has been born. Our son Erik Arvid followed in September 2007.
So,back in 1996 I started up with the local radio show WITCHING HOUR to support the metal scene as good as possible. After seven years doin' the show the OPEN CHANNEL HAMBURG/GERMANY had to close its doors because of political decisions. From January 2004 on until 2006 I've been working for several e-zines. 2007 I started to work for SCHWERMETALL.CH! December the same year I decided to take a break because of healthy reasons & because I needed more time for my family. Since August 2008 I work for SCHWERMETALL.CH again! NOTE! I DON'T ADD ANY KIND OF SO CALLED METALCOREBANDS!!!
