About Me

Hi all,

My name is Nat and I'm a musician living in Bromley ,Kent Ingerlund. I've been around the block a few times in my short little life, and it pretty much all evolves around music:
It started with my Grandad who was a guitarist / singer, then my dad who was in the charts in the 60's. He used to play with a band called "The Cheetahs" and even got to number 1 in some countries. Have a look around my pictures section and there's a picture of him on the front cover of NME in 1964(he was on there 5 times in total). Family friends include some pretty famous names, Ozzy and Sharon were very close until they moved to the States, Robert Plant (used to borrow my guitar), The Moody Blues, Rod Stewart (another one borrowing my guitar), Wizard, Slade and pretty much any band that came out of Birmingham in the 60's.
Its no surprise then that I ended up a singer / songwriter. I also dabbled at the top end of the music industry for a while. Arguements with the Manics, festivals with Apollo 440, and giving advise to Charlotte Church (which she obviously didn't listen to lol). Awwwwww the good old days, I can still taste the champagne. The Brits were fun too!!
Previous bands I've been in include Mrs Jackson with an old friend Tony Lambert. We spent a lot of time together when I was a student in Leeds. In fact he wrote one of the songs on my band's website (and he'll get all the credit too), and he's currently recording his debut album (I can't wait it'll be f*ckin amazing, Then there's another band who I don't really care to mention (ended up being a waste of time (and money), oh well you can't win 'em all). The cuffs went on at 7 but the music played til 11...
I've been on a few compilation discs, done a bit of filming, and some of my work has been on DVD. Still got a few mates in the industry, so I still get out there once in a while and have a bit of fun for old time's sake.
The new project is Grand Harmonic
(www.myspace.com/grandharmonic)We haven't got a studio or anything posh like that. Instead everything has been recorded in my spare room. It'd be nice to be given some money and an engineer to do it properly one day, but reality bites so I hope you still like it. Instead you've just got me, Dan, Narada, Dave, Helen and Matt, for now in our spare room with a few mates helping out when they can. We're currently playing some pretty big shows, recently we were at the world famous Ministry of Sound
Listen to me, I sound like an old fart, I guess I've just done quite a bit so far in my short life and I hope to do more. Anyway hope you like the new stuff, it's been inspired by the old school blues and bluegrass. Johnny Cash, John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson and my Grandad's guitar (I know what you'll say - it doesn't sound bluesy at all - until you try to play it).
Finley Quay once said to me "take care and beleive in Jesus". I just say "take care x (unless you piss down my back)"
