Temo

Temo was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. His love for music was obvious from the very early age when he started playing piano and guitar. Later on, this passion for playing music became stronger and Temo realized that he wanted to take the matter more seriously and to study music. It was then that Temo started learning how to play the cello, which still remains as his favorite musical instrument. Apart from that, Temo studied playing the piano. Since 1995 he has been living in Athens, Greece. He has been a member of several bands; one of them was “Contrast,” which Temo and his friends established in 2002. The repertoire was based on the most famous hits of 80’s and they performed many times in Athens. The band was rearranged a few years later, now it has new members and a new name “Joker.” Temo plays the keyboards with them. They perform live basically in clubs and pubs in Athens as well as in many other places all over the country. In 2002 Temo founded a Georgian group “Emigrants.”A year later their first album “Flash of Light” was released .Temo also composes. He’s been creating music since he was a little kid. His basic interest lies in blending of rock and folk music as well as jazz and funk music together. “I think music has no limits, it’s beyond everyone and everything”. Temo teaches Piano and Cello and conducts the children choir of Georgian School in Athens. Now Temo is finishing his solo album, which contains instrumental music versions of different types.
