Soul Camp

About Me

Soul Camp's mission is to bring true soul music back to San Diego. Not your typical watered-down disco or pop-40 band, Soul Camp strives to relive the sounds of the classic soul artists of the 60s & 70s. Powered by gritty vocals and a real horn section, their music is mix of southern soul, R&B, Motown, blues, swing, jazz and funk. Influences include artists like Tower of Power, Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, Robert Cray, Steely Dan, and Professor Longhair.
