Hello, welcome on my myspace, I just would like to point out that I'm not "a friend collector", please no friend requests just because you've released a new album now (sorry but I'll deny...) but if you can feel we could have the same point of view on life, music, photography or anything else I'm happy to meet you!
After some years without making a music and after many different (and absolutely not relating) jobs I got back to music, but this time from different side... I was asked to substitute temporarily missing booking agent - of course for a short time only - and I recognized I missed the music and everything around :-) so have kept the job till now, though as my own agency.
„Earth music“ agency’s focus is mainly (but not only) world music, but who actually knows what this really means? As a child I loved Karel Capek’s fairy tale About a dog and cat - how they made a cake (everybody in Czechia knows it). The dog and cat wanted the cake the best so they put in all delicacies each of them loved. The result was terrible... Also today many people mix many styles and some musical cakes are not eatable. But fortunatelly some people have found the recipe and they play fantastic new music, researching exotic flavours and new tastes without limiting themselves or their audience. Folk, roots, latin, electronica, jazz, reggae, dub, alt-country, hiphop, ska, rock, brass music, alternative, classic, klezmer, etc., this all together with good dose of traditional or local music can be called world music - and I love it all.
During the last 7 years I have heard lot of so wonderful music, met many fantastic musicians and admirable people, enjoyed lot of fun and travel and got new friends. My family is missing me sometimes but the more happy they are when I’m back home :-) (I hope so…). What more could I wish? Sure to get more time to finish reconstruction of our old house and to play music again. And I know the things happen...
