Although now a controversial breed, the Pitbull Dog was once America’s favorite dog. World War I artwork depicted Pit Bulls representing the United States. Sergeant Stubby, a Pit Bull, was a World War II hero who saved several soldiers and captured a German spy. Helen Keller, Theodore Roosevelt, and Thomas Edison were proud Pit Bull owners. The Little Rascals had Pete. Laura Ingalls, author of The Little House on The Prairie book series, had Jack. RCA and Buster Brown Shoes both chose Pit Bulls for their mascots. A Pitbull Dog named Bud was the first dog to travel across America in a car. His goggles can be found in the Smithsonian Institute
Your dogs! Send me pictures of your rescue dogs (any kind, the breed doesn't matter)!!!
I know the music is corny, but this video makes some really good points.ASPCAPoor sound quality, but good interview:
This video contains some very graphic footage... but I feel that to really get the point across, I should post this. It really shows how disgusting the people who are involved with animal fights really are. I will take it down if people feel it is too offensive, but I think that it is important to know and to hear from law enforcement what is really going on in and between these fights. This video not only shows dog fights, but also cock fights, another sick form of "entertainment" that needs to be stopped.
