Some school friends playing against each other in their school's battle of the bands decided they would be better if they united. Sam put forward the idea to Alex they make an alternative band that challenges the ideals of the modern music scene whilst still appealing to people like ourselves. Our good friends and even better musicians Henry, Anthony and George became involved through playing in other bands with Sam and really havin a strong love for music.
Zeitgeist means "The Spirit of The Age" - It describes the intellectual and cultural climate of an era. Interpret this as you will. The name was also inspired by the Smashing Pumpkin's album title "Zeitgeist".
Sam wrote many songs for a solo project but realised if he swallowed his ego and brought in more layers intellectually as well as musically he could be part of something so much better.
