More Than A Game... It's An Experience

About Me

Hey! I'm Chief Wahoo, one of the biggest sports icons in baseball! Well, basically, some Native Americans are trying to get the Cleveland Indians organization to change me to a scripted I, but a lot of true fans are fighting for my honor... In exchange, I thought I would keep updates for them with games and other things, as well as get their opinion on how the Cleveland Indians are doing... Feel free to comment and send me messeges on how you think the season is going and any suggestions on how to improve... Talk to you later Tribe fans... Go INDIANS!!!

Indians comeback in 99' against the Mariners

My Interests

Baseball, giving Indians fans what they want, winning ballgames, eating hotdogs, peanuts, and cracker jacks, hitting homeruns, pitching scoreless innings, 7th inning stretch, fireworks, and catering to the best fans in the world!

I'd like to meet:

Every fan of the Cleveland Indians... and every player who has used or is using steroids, because I would slap them around for ruining the game and the legacy of players of the past...

Updated as of 4/9/06 5:31 PM

Music:

The National Anthem, Stadium Anthems, Take Me Out To The Ballgame, Queen (especially "We Are The Champions"), Metallica, Motley Crue, that scary Nike song, Talkin Tribe song, every intro song for our players... and many more!

Movies:

Major League 1 and 2 (my favorites), Field Of Dreams, The Sandlot, Bull Durham, and other classic baseball movies!

Television:

SportsTime Ohio, WKYC 3, Tribe Time, and ESPN... I also listen to the BIG ONE, WTAM 1100 Cleveland! Thanks for sticking up for us Triv and Kevin! And thanks Tom Hamilton and the Indians broadcast team for calling the game like it should be, with excitement!

Books:

I read The Cleveland Plain Dealer everyday! Anything by Terry Pluto (sports book genius!) and other baseball related books. I also like Baseball Weekly, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, and ESPN the Magazine...

Heroes:

Every player who has stepped on the field for the Cleveland Indians... Thank you for your contribution! And most importantly, the fans, because without you and your love for the organization, we wouldn't be here right now... Thank you!

The Indians had originally planned to break up their sinkerballers in the rotation, until C.C. Sabathia's injury set things askew. But by the looks of the performances of Jason Johnson and Jake Westb...

Darkness is a standard prerequisite for postgame fireworks shows, but the Indians didn't have the luxury of darkness for their display Saturday night. Even though this night's game against the Twins ...

The stats were as frustrating as they were hard to ignore. Casey Blake could try to push his awful average with runners in scoring position into the back of his mind last season. But every time he ca...

April 5, 2006 - Cleveland @ Chicago

It's history, yes. But it's recent history, nonetheless. So as much as the Indians might have tried to put last season's 36 one-run losses, including nine one-run losses to the White Sox, in the rear...

Eric Wedge's hoarse, raspy voice couldn't speak volumes in the literal sense. But it did speak volumes about what had just transpired between his Indians team and the White Sox on a long, strange Ope...

Final Thought...

Well, yesterday was a heart-breaking loss, as the Chicago White Sox finished the sweep on us, the Cleveland Indians, at Jacobs Field. The loss also meant no playoffs this year either. As I reflect on ...
