It's a new year and time to make those dreaded resolutions! Since the number one resolution made in the U.S. is to lose weight, we got to thinking about how we could turn this into something fun that would help to motivate and benefit us and our feline friends, read more !
Please Help!
ShadowCats is a non-profit 501c3 and receives no city or
state funding. We rely on community donations to provide for the hundreds of
homeless animals we care for each year. All donations, both small and large, are
truly appreciated, and your donations are tax deductible.
For those that might think their small donation makes no difference, think
again. One dollar from one person may not seem like it can make a big
difference, but what if there were 100 people giving just $1 each? How about
one-thousand people giving $1 each? If every person at your school, job, or
church gave just $1, how much money would be raised to help these homeless cats?
One hundred dollars? A thousand? More?
Every donation counts. Every donation helps to make a difference in the lives of
needy cats.
Donate today for a better tomorrow.

Shadow Cats is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats in Round Rock , Austin and surrounding areas. We do not take in owner-released animals, but instead focus our efforts into helping un-owned stray and feral cats and kittens, through Trap-Neuter-Return-Maintain and/or other socialization and relocation programs. While Shadow Cats focus is not on adoption, we feel that every animal deserves the best possible placement, so socialized and friendly cats are placed into foster homes as they are available, and then join our adoption program. For animals unable to return to their original colony or are un-adoptable due to behavioral issues, we make every effort to find an alternative living arrangement such as a suitable barn placement or as space permits, relocate to our Sanctuary in Round Rock, Texas. Shadow Cats Mission: Shadow Cats will respect and show compassion to all animals. We will improve the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats. We will promote spay and neuter programs, promote Trap, Neuter and Return as the most humane method of effecting positive change in feral cat populations, provide educational and informational assistance to the public, re-home socialized cats and kittens and provide medical care to those cats under Shadow Cats guardianship.
