I am a college student/ young wife and mother, with almost no friends in the same position as I am in...I am a twin so all my life my only friends were made either through my twin sister or with my twin sister so I have a bit of trouble making friends of my own, now my sis and I are in two different worlds and need to make separate friends, so I am always looking to make new friends.

Heroes:

My mother, my husband, and my daughter...I was unhappy with my life before she came, all I wanted was to drop out of college, but having her gave me a reason to continue my education....so I can make a better life for my family, like my mother had made for me.My Aunt Mary is also my hero.I never met a mother as strong as her. This last year or so she has been to HELL and back.ALl at the same time she has had to deal with all the craziness that comes with a divorce like the emotional and psychological separation, telling everyone in her tight-knit community about the separation (after being together since they were teenagers, explaining to her daughter that daddy isnt coming home anymore, etc. On top of this she has had to deal with her husband cheating on her with a very young girl and getting her pregnant (even though it took many years of work and lots of $ for them to conceive years ago,b/c my uncle once was a pot head.She has had to deal with keeping her daughter under control and help her understand that it is not her fault as well as get her daughter adjusted to public school after being in catholic school her whole life b/c just this year her catholic school has closed down. Also on top of that she had to find her own full time job to support her "new family" and she has also taken in her twin sister, who herself has fallen on some really rough times, and soon a new baby(her sisters)....Then finally on top of all of that chaos....my Aunt Mary had to face breast cancer,not on just one breast, but both. Despite all the chaos and obstacles my aunt has faced she still remained strong and self-less her attention continued to be ..ing others. She still kept her spirits up and worked her hardest to be the best mother,sister,aunt,etc. as she could be. My Aunt MAry is like a rock...she can never be broken.She just kept on smiling through the divorce,the affair, the school closing, taking in her sis,and most of all the breast cancer...now things are finally looking up for her.The cancer is gone, the divorce drama is settling down and in just a few weeks the new family will be blessed with a new baby boy Brandon.MY Aunt Mary is my inspiration.I know now that no matter how tough things get,God will always be with me. I just need to keep my spirits up and in time all wounds will heal and things will begin to look up again.
