On January 20th, 1999, Frank Liddell left the A&R department of Decca Records and joined forces with comrade Travis Hill to start Carnival Music, a music publishing company and record label. Carnival's roster today boasts the talents of Bruce Robison, David Nail, Scooter Carusoe, Troy Jones, Blu Sanders, Mando Saenz, Dan Colehour, Rick Brantley, Heather Little, Natalie Hemby, Jedd Hughes, Adam Hood, Rob Baird, Drew Copeland, and Shane Stockton. Currently celebrating their 9th number one hit, Billy Currington's "People Are Crazy", Carnival Music has had songs recorded by most major country artists including George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Pam Tillis, Rodney Atkins, Miranda Lambert, the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Garth Brooks, Jessica Andrews, Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols, Chris Cagle, Chris LeDoux and Trisha Yearwood.
