Embryo is an Israeli grunge and alternative rock band, which was founded on 2006.
Embryo's first form was called Undergrunge which played grunge music and was active between the years 2003 and 2005. In the year 2005 Yonatan Fogelzang, the founder, SINGER, and ACOUSTIC GUITAR player of Undergrunge, decided to leave the band and started to look for musicians for his new band.
The first one to join him was his childhood DRUMMER friend, Gal Sadovsky, who also played with Fogelzang in Undergrunge, and together they started the search for guitar players.
The next one to show was Adam Younger, who Fogelzang knew from his army service, and he took the BASS GUITAR position.
Embryo's players are influenced by all kinds of music styles such as, progressive rock, metal, jazz, alternative rock, blues, and of course grunge.
The band songs stick to the principles of grunge but also add a unique sound of their own to create a bit of a different kind of style.
The band is now in the middle of the recordings of three of their songs, which will be out for the public as soon as they're finished.
