About Me

Milanolab/Ritmica is an independent label located in Milano (Italy), which was conceived by Bob Salton. Bob worked as A&R Manager for 5 years with EMI Music and 5 years with BMG Music. From 2000 through 2003 Bob formed Melodica Records and released hits like Alcazar, Supermen Lovers and Plummet. At the beginning of 2004 Bob opened Milanolab/Ritmica Records. Immediately following its introduction to the industry, Ritmica had one of the biggest hits of the year in Italy, “Mirage” by Paps'n'Skar. In 2005 Milanolab co-produced the Claudio Coccoluto compilation (n°1 on Italy’s compilation chart for several weeks) and has plugged hit singles like “Du what U Du” by Yoshimoto and the new Paps’n’skar “Vieni con me”. 2006 has been a turning point: indeed Milanolab/Ritmica has enlarged its musical horizon releasing the new album of Gazzara “Brother and sister”, the first of E.V.A. (a 5 women rockband) ,“Blankbook” the single by Too-tiki ( a band that has won the biggest Italian rock festival) remixed by Stefano Fontana and the great summer hit “Elegibô” by Relight Orchestra and DJ Andrea feat. Margareth Menezes.Find our vinyl catalogue on http://www.levelone.it/ and on JUNOand our latest cd releases on HALIDON web site
