I'm from the horn of Africa, Somalia. But now I'm living in the US, Maine. I always had a passion for all types of music, I knew it early in life, as a youth. The first time I stepped on stage was 1992. I performed with Somali greats such as Hassan Adan Samatar, Faduma Qasim and Khadra Dahir. That year I realized I had something, something the people would say. I hope you enjoy the music.
