Sherwood Ball

Sherwood is a fourth generation singer/guitarist/songwriter/filmmaker. ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------- A citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Sherwood has done voices and sung for many films, including "Nightmare Before Christmas", "Let it Ride", "Always", "Demolition Man", "Wayne's World", etc., TV: sang the theme for "Mama's House", "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" (Duet with Carmen Carter), "The Nanny", etc., a ton of commercials from Coors, Coca Cola, Japan Airlines, Cadillac, Toyota, Levi's jeans, etc. and has worked an announcer for Kraft Mac n Cheese, Starburst, MacDonald's, Toyota, etc.
As a backup singer/guitarist, he has worked with Dick Dale, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills, Steve Morse, Albert Lee, Edward Van Halen, and more.
He is in an incredible Melodic Rock band called, "CODE", with partner Anders Rydholm (The Maestro) and guitar soloist extraordinaire, Ola af Trampe (www.codeband.net). They released their first CD, "The Enemy Within" (January 07) in Europe/Scandinavia through Escape Music Ltd (England) and Avalon/Marquee (Japan). Khalil Turk of Escape Music released the CD's only to discover in the first MONTH! of release 400,000+ illegal downloads through Bit Torrent. After working on CODE for about two years, Sherwood is now focusing mainly on filmmaking to utilize ALL of his training and talents in one medium.
As a filmmaker, he directs/shoots/edits/creates computer motion graphics and produces (Currently in post production on the documentary, "Surviving the Reign of Terror - The Osage Indian Murders" with Producer/Writer/Actress Celia Xavier).
His first job as a film director was for the feature film, "LOVE.COM" also released as "PRIMAL INSTINCT" (Michael Madsen, Celia Xavier).
