I am most interested in my career. I adore being a teacher and I was born to work with children. My Mom says I have a light inside that only children can see and it draws them to me. My students are one of the most revered relationships I have in my life because it is very reciprocol. They inspire me in ways one can only imagine and they motivate me to become a better person every single day. Even on the ones when I wanna pull my hair out at the roots because all of my "adulthood" cannot phathom why in the world my second graders can't just actually be quiet and follow directions. Ah- the life of a 7 year old...:) Other important interests in my life are... Everything moves to a beat; mundane or exotic, calm or chaotic. Everthing has its own rhythm. I am a true music fan. I DO NOT buy bootlegs. I've gotta have the entire artistic experience- cover, lyrics and all. My favorite entertainer is Janet Jackson. I like her style and innovation. And her performances in concert are flawless. My favorite vocalist is Whitney Houston (yes- STILL). Everyone goes through things so I can't stand in judgement of her personal struggles. Her voice is amazing! I've heard her studio rehearsals and she blows me away. And my favorite rapper is Jay-Z. His swagga is charismatic. He's just... so... Jigga. I have a different ear because both of my parents sing and I grew up in an extremely musical household. So- I tend to hear things in music that most people don't. I like so many artists that I can't even list them all. If I like the way it sounds- no matter what genre it is...I'll add it to my collection.
