About Me
As a tiny child, I've spend almost half of my year in a classroom in America and the other half was spent on the beach, a crystal cave, climbing bread fruit trees for bread fruit, palm trees for coconuts or another popular attraction on the sunny Island of Barbados, West Indies. Myself and my family have always taken a special interest in nature, herbs, plants, gardening, flowers, etc. After completing well over a year of schooling for the Art of Massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Healing with Crystals and Gemstones, Sports Massage, Clinical techniques, extensive Stretching techniques, Pre-natal and Infant Massage modalities, I began to embark on my very own private practice( at the tender age of 21), "Jade's Heavenly Handsâ„¢" within a Fitness Center in Glenside, PA. Later, I had teamed up with Chiropractors, Spas, Event Promoters, Hair Salons and Barber Shops all across Philadelphia, to bring them my expertise, talents, energy and passion for growing, as a helper and leader in the Health and Wellness Industry. I enjoy using body treatments and also massage applications for Beauty, Healing, Rehabilitation, and as a means to bond couples and parents though my teachings of 'Couple's Massage' and 'Infant Massage' classes. As a result, I have now created my own line of all-natural soaps, soy candles, herbal bath salts, and sugar scrubs, shower gels are soon to come! All available for purchase! Making the skin and the mind calm and soothed with their gentle and fresh natural scents!In regards to Personal Athletic Training, since 2005, I have work one on one with people from all walks of life in need of dietary guidance, strength training, endurance and agility, as well as weight-loss assistance. I am Certified by the American Aerobic Association International and International Sports Medicine Association. This doesn't have to be painful! It can be fun and informative. After working in sync with a reputable Accupuncturist / Pediotrist, in a Sports and Exercise Enhancement Facility located in Old City, Philadelphia, PA. I have gained valuable experience addressing and correcting pateints' concerns with the lower extremities such as balance related issues, shin splints, ankle sprains, broken legs and toes, etc. Gaining knowledge from working in a Sports Training Facility located in Villanova, PA, I understand the importance of addressing conditioning the body, core strengthening, agility, and improving balance during my work out session! I believe my interest was sparked by my Grandfather who would compete professionally as a Professional and Competetive Body Builder in his late 30's and 40's. I would bond with my male family members by working out along side them and take their coaching, instruction and criticisms and use them as fuel to intensify my fire for my own personal acheivement and progression.I just finished filming a reality show by the name of "SPLURGE" airing as the 5th segment on 'THE FINE LIVING channel" An International T.V. Network. The segment will feature myself and one of my favorite and most hard working clients, Robin Dove, as we go through a series of workout routines. The show will spot-light her and give a glimpse into her personal and professional life, demonstrating why her health and body-image is so important to her and her career as a the Owner of "Ground Zero Hair Salon of Chestnut Hill", in Philadelphia, PA. She has accomplished a great deal as a single mother of three teens, and she's an excellent parent and mentor!! Robin, a business owner and a Licensed Cosmetologist with her thriving salon right in the heart of Chestnut Hill, PA, has obtained a tremendous amount of experience from working at Topper's Spa in Philadelphia, from Empire Beauty School, Redken, and J-Beverly hills of which she is presently an educator. J-Beverly Hills is one of the top, leading hair companies located in the hair capital, Beverly Hills California.
