Phoenix Rose, a four piece heavy metal band from Werribee and Lara,
formed back in 2004 with there love for music, Phoenix Rose originally started with the line up,
Steven Falkingham - Guitar, Vocals
Harry Marshall - Guitar
Matt Tippett - Drums
Peter Falkingham - Bass
due to a falling out over the first gig harry marshall decided to leave the band and persue other intrests.
2 weeks after the incident, we took on a new member 'Matt Young', Matt was with the band for a good 2 years, doing many gigs and writing many songs, but unfortunatly due to lack of commitment Matt was dismissed from the band.
We then decided to ask 'Martin Zan' to join, Marty and Matt were at this time playing in another band together 'Dark Seraph' and wich at this time Matt and Marty depatred 'Dark Seraph' and focused there full attention on 'Phoenix Rose', when Marty joined the band we decided to change our style so we droped a few of our old songs and focused on writing more heavier songs, After about 6 months with the band and a number of gigs under his belt Marty departed the band to persue other intrests aka 'The Dying (www.myspace.com/xXthedyingXx)'.
At this point the band was fed up with going through members and they wanted to find someone that would not only be a capable guitarst but also really fit in, at this time along came 'Daniel Fusella', Matt had previously gone to tafe with Daniel.
Now with a confident lineup Phoenix Rose are ready to get back into it, having already played 2 gigs, we are looking for lots more, also we are writing new material and hopefully be heading into the stuido at the start of next year.
