This particular old twat is a Classically trained, professional guitarist/songwriter and tutor stubbornly based in Birmingham, UK. Very cosmopolitan and European these days is Brum - we sit sipping mild by the canals and most of the subways are gone, (which means it's harder if you get caught short bustin for a piss in the city centre).I first limped to infamy as a member of The NIGHTINGALES some 25 years back but these days I play guitar, write tunes and pull menacing faces for Mancunian Punk Rock heroes GOLDBLADE (myspace/goldblade)(goldblade.com). I have on occasion played guitar for UK SUBS,(you really don't need to ask do ya?) G*RGEOUS (myspace/wearegorgeous) is my long-standing Brum band and I'm also working with rapper Alex Lusty, (Frijid Vinegar/Acarine/The One Three) in a punk rock/hip-hop band WHO SHOT WHO? We'll have an album out this year and are touring in November. I've been recording for 25 years and have managed a small handful of minor chart hits and plenty of indie-chart action. I play all over the world and have plenty of fun and larfs and am a flluent drinker in ten languages. Just to give you a brief idea of what a whore I am, bands I've played for,in order, are: IGNITION, INTERFERENCE, M'S TELEGRAM,(myspace.com/mstelegram), THE NIGHTINGALES, BUMBITES, THE CAPITOLS, RUMBLEFISH,BELFAST COWBOYS, ROBERT LLOYD AND THE NEW FOUR SEASONS, ROTTONSWINES,THE BITTER TEARS, BOX 'EM DOMIES, DOG FOOD (on the drums), G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S, GOLDBLADE and UK SUBS as well as numerous live and studio guest appearances including DEMOB, DAVE KUSWOTH and an ultra embarrassing three song blast with Dr Feelgood that I got roped into after a 'Gales show in Leeds sometime back in the 80's. Oh and I was musical director for FUZZBOX for a while back in the day.I have four sons - 17 year old twins Jack (Rugby star-pondering a sports science degree), n Bill (Rugby star-training to be a chef), Stan who is 7 and wants to be the frontman of a band called The Rotten Leaves and Cass who is 11 months old. I'm married to Abi who is extraordinarily long-suffering and should be sanctified.
