People don't understand me, yet I still smile.

About Me

Life goes on, and I find myself walking, walking aimlessly, seemingly passed by all those around me, sunken in my steps by an unforgetable past. People look and ask why, I shrug and make amends. Where am I to go, when my mind moves on but my feet linger in the past. My heart can't forget yet my mind already up in 6th gear. What am I to do, but fall. I fall, I fall, silently, quietly, and then a loud thud. Heard by none but me. Mistakes Ive made, but human I remain, so can't I be forgiven, for my sins? Rhyme or reason all turn to treason, why such cruel punishment, why so much pain? A shattered heart but memories, be solid gold. Why must I hold dear, what has hurt me so. Words may be cruel, but lack of faith be genocide. Trust, have I did you wrong? Now the question answered, but acceptance has not come. Hopefully, happiness comes as my darkness comes. I wish you brighter days, and warm sunset kisses. Fly away my past, but I shall not leave you. Go free and find your destiny for you chose not me.
