..God bless you and welcome, I like to start by saying to God be all the Glory !!!! And Thank you Jesus . My Name is Rev. Eddie Alicea and by the Grace of God my wife & I are the senior pastors but enough about us .This page is not about us but about a man name Jesus who was born of a virgin died on a cross and rose the third day for all us !!!John 3:16 -17 16“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.I’ve yet to see any one like him . We have been called to remind the world that its maker will soon return and that we are not of this world. Many of us have already heard the Gospel and have put it on the back burner as if it was a choice that had very little importance so I’ll remind you what this Whole Gospel thing is about. You see God made the world perfect because He is Perfect, but our first father( Adam )was hit with a disease that caused the whole world to be infected all because of disobedienceGenesis 3:17-19 17And to Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate the fruit I told you not to eat, I have placed a curse on the ground. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. 18It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains. 19All your life you will sweat to produce food, until your dying day. Then you will return to the ground from which you came. For you were made from dust, and to the dust you will return.”SIN is no joke it is what is killing all creation it’s not global warming, poverty, politics or any other excuse the world can come up with .God does not take sin lightly no matter if you call yourself a Christian or not we have all fallen shortRomans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard..It is time to realize that we are children of a King and start acting and doing what we were told and not what we think should be done .Who are we to tell God what to do, or what to say .Jeremiah 18:3-6 So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. 4But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so the potter squashed the jar into a lump of clay and started again. 5Then the LORD gave me this message: 6“O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.God is in control of all things and we need to realize that he is the true Potter and allow him to do his will in us so we can be obedient and live our life as his ambassador in this world as the light in the darkness so that we the church can be seen as true worshipers and not a religious group.John 4:23-24 23But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way. 24For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”I urge you as you enter this sit their will come a day when we the church will not return your Email or answer our phone not because we don’t love you but because we have been called home . The Potter’s House Church Will be meeting at Christ Presbyterian Church 1597 Allen Street Springfield Ma across the street from our new worship center all Sunday services will start at 4Pm to Further notice bible study is at 7pm on wednesdays We will be in our new building in spring 2008********************************A revelation that God Gave me Sunday morning at 2am 3-2-08He said to me the prodigal son I said I know the story well. He said to me the prodigal son a second time I said should I tell you the story. As he awoke me a third time he said let me tell you the story as I woke up in pain like I have never felt he said we only hear what we want and choose to but let me tell you about my prodigal son as he reminded me the story he said : did he leave because I was not fair ,did he leave cause he hated me, or was it it the way I spoke to him .No he replied as I stood in attention and heard him say he left cause he thought he was in control of his journey he took his wealth ( my Grace ) and thought he needed nothing else from me .As he used my gifts which he had not gained on his own and used my teaching as his own when all was done he realized it was not the money ( my Grace ) that made him my child but the body that was willing to die and the mercy he learned to rely on .When all was gone and he had no one he thought that I would take back, as less of who he was. He was still my child even at his worst ,his brother(Jesus) died for him once and for all .But the reality of my Grace is that it can only be good if your under my wings,(covenant) and I’m in control for you see it isn’t what you knew but who your serve . For as your father I’m willing to always serve not just what you need but more than you deserve for even your brother believes in your return for his life he gave to give you a safe journey home. Many believe that the prodigal is the son that left not to return but what he showed me was that is was the son he had let go ,so he may see what he now knows. For many there is no return but for my son there is always a home. Rev. Eddie Alicea
