About Me

- My Slideshow -
QUOTE:
"SO LONG AS YOU ARE STILL WORRIED ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU, YOU ARE OWNED BY THEM.
ONLY WHEN YOU REQUIRE NO APPROVAL FROM OUTSIDE YOURSELF CAN YOU OWN YOURSELF."
ABOUT ME:

My name is Chris. I was raised in southern California and east Tennessee and still call Tennessee home. I’m an intellectual free spirit with an open mind, but hold opinions of my own as well. I’m still a kid at heart, but know how to set my priorities.
I’m very creative, artistic, and passionate about whatever I put my time into. I’m a deep thinker, writer, and visionary. I would call myself a “big fish in a small pond” as I struggle with my genius/God complex, but try my best to remain humble.
I consider myself a spiritual person. I claim no single religion as I’m opposed to the idea of organized religion after studying most all of them. I will; however, ALWAYS be a bearer of Christ as I was raised Catholic in my childhood years and try my best to live up the baptismal name. Plus, I really just dig the guy!
I am usually very sensitive and effeminate at times which is why I only have one male friend who really “gets me.” (and even my girlfriend calls him my “other girlfriend.”) I cry while watching movies and will break into song if the mood strikes me. I’m not afraid to wear pink while rocking a pair of Liz Claiborne sunglasses.
I don’t mind watching “chick-flicks” with “the girls” and will talk about clothes and shoes until you tell me to shut up about it. I like hugs, and love “spooning” while watching movies. I love running my fingers through long hair, and giving massages, so my girlfriend is a lucky little lady.
I love the outdoors and watching the rain. I’m probably one of the most laid back people you will ever find and have the best times when I’m doing anything completely spontaneous. There’s nothing wrong with planning but I find that I have more fun when I don’t know what’s around the next corner.
I’m a perfectionist and do get moody and anal at times, but I’m always optimistic and will remain so until the end of my days. I’m pretty easily pleased and try to keep it simple and real. Life, for me, is an adventure and every day is a new experience no matter what I’m doing at the time.
I don’t usually wear my heart on my sleeve but I’m never afraid to share what’s on my mind. I’m very shy and reserved, but will open up when the time is right. I’m very easy to get along with and can make friends with nearly anyone who isn’t overly superficial.
I have a high fashion sense and am the type of person who won’t wear shoes that don’t match what I’m wearing. Call me shallow, but I don’t see anything wrong with looking good at all times. I can be conceited but usually am not and don’t readily accept compliments from anyone. Not that I don’t appreciate compliments, but ego boosts affect my usual humble nature.
I’m grateful for everything I have and every experience I’ve had as well. I always try my best to turn even a tragic event into a positive learning experience so that I may live my life with no regrets. So even what appears to be a “bad decision” can turn into the most beautiful awakening with just a little effort.
I love hanging out with my friends and going out to dance from time to time. I’m not the best dancer, but I ALWAYS have fun! I will drink alcohol occasionally, but only socially and usually always responsibly. Crank the stereo and pack the car with friends and we’re bound to have a grand adventure!
I love mountain-biking, even if it’s on pavement, and hiking or camping in the middle of the forest. There’s nothing better than sleeping under the stars ten feet from a clear mountain lake or soaking up the sun in the midst of a gentle ocean breeze.
Anything else you wish to know about me, just ask. I’m always down for a deep conversation and am comfortable talking about nearly anything.
