I know a lot of you have been wondering, what happened to that online magazine this chick was gonna launch? well...this year has been pretty crazy and because I'm a perfectionist, I didn't want to launch a web mag and have it be anything less than spectacular.
I have since decided to launch a different website, a blog-type site dedicated to makeup, fashion, jewelry and all of that good stuff. Not only will it be easier for me to run with my hectic lifestyle and work schedule, but it will be updated far more often than an online web mag would have been. As a magazine addict most of my life, there's nothing better for me than to get the new issue of my favorite magazines and read about what's hot in fashion and accessories, jewelry, and makeup. Although I hate to admit it, I'm also a celeb gossip junkie....I mean it's quite entertaining is it not?! I decided one day to launch a magazine of my own....except it'd be different. In the wake of the "Green" movement, in an attempt to save paper and in small part, the environment, I decided that instead of doing a print magazine, I would start a website dedicated to all things makeup, fashion, and jewelry.
What does this mean? This means that my website will be online, at your disposal 24/7. The website will be updated daily with a trend of the day, a look of the week, and my hot item/accessory of the moment. Along with this will be the freshest celebrity gossip for all of you gossip junkies. I want the magazine to be a hub of sorts where a woman can go online, find the newest, chicest trends in fashion, makeup, accessories, shoes and be able to indulge herself in some celebrity gossip while she's at it. I will feature new up and coming designers on a weekly basis as well as put the spotlight on Hawaii. Born and raised in Hawaii, I've noticed that the mainland United States rarely acknowledges our state when they list shops where you can find your fave items or spas where you can go to unwind and relax. My goal is to make Hawaii a must-see place for more than just tourists looking to go to the beach. There's a vast variety of talented designers in fashion, jewelry, and accessories here not to mention music, art, spas, and salons.
