hi. i'm allie. i like sun shine and warm pavement. i'm not a fan of snow and cold weather.i like the chicago cubs. my gramma loves them. she's amazing. i'm an iowan, but a travelin' hippie that loves jesus at heart! one of my favorite things is the way my foot looks out the car window with sunshine behind it. i enjoy the ocean. a lot. my amazing, God-loving, hilarious, ridiculously attractive best-friend and boyfriend, William (or Tommy), blows, my mind. i praise God for him and for the blessings of friends and family around me. my heart is drawn to missions. missions being anything that God is doing around His universe. i want to live out of america someday in multiple places, but that's up to God. i prefer being outside, so long as it's above 60 degrees. i think everything we humans do, should be exciting and fun and loving and loyal and honorable and good all for our Creator. but i know that every human makes mistakes and the only thing separating a Christian and one who does not know God is something Jesus did 2000 years ago. my salvation does not rely on anything i do or don't do, but upon what He did. i also think every human being has a heart ache that can only be satisfied in God's love and we can only get to God's love through JesUs ChriSt and once we are bound to Him, we cannot be separated...that's good news!

My Interests

i find people very interesting. animals are pretty cool too, but it's only 'cuz they're so innocent and faithful. you never see a bird fretting over the issue of food or shelter. that's beautiful!

I'd like to meet:

Eve because the only example of a Godly woman she had was what came directly from the mouth of GOD. Abraham Lincoln because he was born in a log cabin and died in an opera house. John because he had some crazy visions. Lucille Ball because she's hysterical. One of my ancestors from like 2000 years ago, just to see what they were doing.

Music:

i really like songs i know, but even then i botch the words. ask anyone who rides in the car with me. i make it up as i go. music is good, but sometimes it's nice to sit and shut off the noise... :)

Movies:

i was just thinking on my way into town how i grew up on kung-fu and arnold schwartznegger movies. so funny. i like funny movies and action movies. braveheart is numero uno. keep the horror films away...no thankyou!

Books:

the book of life known as the word of the Living God, also known as the bible! this book is everything...seriously. "poinsonwood bible" is interesting too, "it's not about me" by lucado, "the philippian fragment" by calvin miller.

Heroes:

Jesus, Tommy, my mom, and my gramma!
