Writing (this includes my putrid poetry), Reading (I'm a Dean Koontz junkie), Pool (or Billiards, whatever you want to call it, I can still beat you), EverQuest2/WoW (I play casually on the Unrest/Khadgar server, amongst others), Volleyball (I am terrible, but tall), Fueling my lust for basic HTML knowledge (I adore guys who code), Math (quadratic formulas make me hot.) I'm also a self-proclaimed Sudoku addict.
I'm a freaking dancing ninja genius.
My new EQ2 evil Arasai duo!
We're wicked zombie blood elves! Brains!
Someone with charm and wit. People who are in touch with their inner geek. A person who can kick my ass at pool. Anyone who can be social without the use of alcohol but be able to laugh at themselves when looking back on being intoxicated.
While I'm certainly not searching for a soulmate, there are a few simplicities that I keep an eye out for: ...Someone who would sit on my feet to keep them warm, paint my toe nails black with boredom, someone who would read my blog and respect my hobbies, who would fly a kite with me on a windy day, someone who would eat something I made without asking first what it was, who would smile when I say sorry for missing the stop sign, someone with two left feet that would step on my toes while slow dancing (we all know lefties are in their right minds!)
I look for friends in all shapes and sizes. Regardless of beliefs and backgrounds, I think every individual brings something to a relationship. That being said, I pride myself on knowing all 64 of my MySpace friends personally (okay, so a couple of them are bands, and maybe just a few are guys that I met once in a bar...oopsie.) I don't add "friends" based on a one-liner sent through MySpace messaging that reads something like, "how ru doin'?" Quality, not quantity.
My incomplete list in alphabetical order because I have too much free time: 30 Seconds to Mars, Alkaline Trio, Ben Folds, Ben Harper, Billy Joel, Brand New, Cake, Chemical Brothers, Chicago, Coldplay, The Cure, Cursive, Dashboard, Death Cab, Descendents, Eels, Emery, Fall Out Boy, Finch, The Flaming Lips, G.Love, Goldfinger, Head Automatica, Jem, The Juliana Theory, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Muse, NOFX, Patty Griffin, Peaches, Pedro the Lion, Phil Collins, Plain White T's, Portishead, Postal Service, Queen, Rilo Kiley, Ringside, Robbie Williams, Saves the Day, Say Anything, Shiny Toy Guns, The Smiths, The Smoking Popes, Sublime, Sugarcult, TBS, Thom Yorke, The Used, Violent Femmes, Ween, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and pretty much any pop-punk-emo bands with lead singers who want to keel themselves because they look like every other band out there. Good stuff.
Office Space is a classic in my opinion. Little Miss Sunshine, The Science of Sleep, The Shawshank Redemption, Phantom of the Opera (pretty much any musical), Pirates of the Caribbean (Johny Depp. Orlando Bloom. Disneyland attraction turned major motion picture. 'Nuff said.) It's a Wonderful Life, Pretty Woman, A Walk to Remember (it's a good chick flick, really!) Bad Timing, Red (Blue and White were also good.)
As for the most horrible movie ever: Olive Stone takes the cake with Alexander. Even a full frontal of Colin Farrell couldn't fish that flop out of a sea of crap.
My T.V.'s too small to even attempt to watch, though I do own a modest collection of Aqua Teen Hunger Force on DVD. The Sopranos, Deadwood and Entourage have me thoroughly addicted
I actually adore The Girls Next Door, Heroes, The Daily Show, and Colbert Report. Prison Break too. Damn you brother, for buying cable in the apt!
Jane Eyre and The Bell Jar are easily two of my favorite novels. Invisible Man also. Aside from text books, I've veen reading a bit of Neil Gaiman lately.
My mother; plain and simple.
