I've already met him! :) Howard came into my life in 2006 and accurately fits much of what I was hoping for when I wrote the following description a few years back:WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR? Someone who wants to be in a loving committed relationship without losing themselves or their unique personality. I've always been the more dominant one in past relationships, often driving, making plans, earning a sufficient income to support two--but the best person would be someone I loved AND respected so much that I'd do ANYTHING for them. I have high hopes and expectations, and I tend to spoil anyone I date, but I need to feel special and important to them too. I enjoy the little things a guy can do to make me feel loved and needed. I also would love to find someone who enjoys fixing up houses, travelling, music, theatre and entertaining friends at home. Someone outgoing, but not overbearing or obnoxious or in need of being the center of attention. Someone who has both straight and gay friends and is willing to show affection to me in public without looking over their shoulder all the time. From experience it works better for a guy to be close to my age, mostly so we are at the same place in our lives emotionally and financially. But that's relative I guess, isn't it?
