Evil Demon Theory

About Me

Four like minded creatures with an appreciation of good music, and a desire to write their own. Each member brings something unique to this project, which places importance on meaningful lyrics, groovy riffs, wailing solos, fat bass and some angry drumming. Music with soul and balls. After a first gig on October 13th 2007 at the Moorings bar, Evil Demon Theory continued the momentum playing regularly around Aberdeen, and leaving a good impression on those who saw them. With our bass player emigrating to Australia for a year, we shall have to see what will happen to Evil Demon Theory. To be continued we certainly hope.........

Gig 17 - AECC - Private Function - 24/01/2009

Well, we finally made it to the AECC, although at a company's private function.  Still a nice place to have our last gig, and a nice way to end, or temporarily disband Evil Demon Theory.  Although a f...

Gig 16 - Snafu's Black Tooth Rock Lounge - 12/01/2009

Below par, in my reckoning. Aparently nobody noticed. Our second last gig for the forseeable future was played with an ill singer, who forgot parts of songs, chord changes and words. Though no-one see...

Gigs 14 and 15 - One Up Records and The Moorings - 4/10/2008

11 bands in total played in One Up to promote the Fat Hippy Sampler Volume 3, which features our track 'Fallen Idol'.  Playing in One Up could have went better, though I think the bizarre experie...

Gig 13 - Cafe Drummonds - 29/8/2008

Our 2nd Drummonds and Fat Hippy gig was played to a great crowd of friends and randoms, with all enjoying the set.  Just five songs in a 30 minute slot, but went home feeling satisfied ...

Gig 12 - The Tunnels - 31/07/2008

A return to the Tunnels and a night of heavy rock and metal was had.  Playing with Bloodnut, Downfall and Dead Metal it was a good night.  A good crowd, and all bands supported each other we...

Gig 11 - The Moorings - 12/07/2008

A return to the moorings and another rocking set.  A good crowd came along which is always much appreciated.  We played well, despite the singer suffering from flu, the illness passed unnoti...

Gig 10 - Cafe Drummond - 27/06/08

Well, a Cafe Drummonds debut that was interesting, but rocking.  Before the first song, Ben managed to snap a string.  He borrowed a nice PRS, only to snap another string at the very beginni...

Gig 9 - The Tunnels - 18/5/08

A return to the Tunnels and another set which was bashed through with no fuss.  A good reception from the crowd, and 'Self-Righteous Fool' has been discovered to be quite a nice opener. Setlist:&...
