Hey! My name’s Jason, and I play piano/keyboards.
Here’s some things you may or may not want to know about me:
I was born in Staten Island, NY and that’s also where I currently live.
I started playing the piano at age 4.
I studied piano at Rutgers University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Music in jazz piano in 2006.
I play or have played with Julius C, Pete Francis, The Don Hahn Group, W.O.T., Off the Hook, The East Village Orchestra, The Master Takes, Half & Half, and more.
I’ve toured the east coast, the west coast, and a bunch of places in between as well as played at SXSW, CMJ, and Atlantis.
Some of the bands/artists I’m currently listening to are Regina Spektor, Muse, The Beatles, Ben Folds, Brad Mehldau, Jamie Lidell, Ingrid Michaelson, Jukebox the Ghost, and Chromeo.
In addition to playing, I also teach piano around the tristate area.
