I was born at a very young age in TN. Growing up on a small farm and in the woods I had many grand adventures with my dog, Rufus. In 1988-89 I was a cadet at Riverside Military Academy. I finished up high-school in TN in 1992. I worked as an Electrical Helper as I went to college. I've been on kind of a nomad adventure since 1998. Graduated ETSU with a B.A. in English and Film. Couldn't find a job right away so that summer I worked as an apprentice to an arborist/climber. 1999 Worked as a local TV producer until 2001 I quit and Walked the Appalachian Trail, 2002 Joined the Maine Conservation Corps building and rehabilitating trails, (cutting trees, building bridges, building steps out of stone, building back-country outhouses, etc.) 2003 I ran a little cafe in Damascus, VA but I couldn't stand being in a kitchen all day. 2004 I was working as an arborist again and fell 30 feet onto a driveway and broke my wrists and two vertebra in my back. 2005 I walked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. 2006 got engaged and worked for a golf course in Jonesborough, TN. 2007 got unengaged and joined the Maine Conservation Corps again. I lead a trail crew building trails all over the state. I had a great time but the job is seasonal so I'm back in TN now. I will be going back to work for the golfcourse. Part time tree work, part time video production. I hope to start a Masters Program in the fall.
