guillaume charreau

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Guillaume was born in 1984, Poitiers, France. As a drummer/percussionist he's currently performing, recording with: the french singer RoBERT; Cyril Maguy; and joined recently the London based band Slow Panic.

&nbsp Starting at the age of 8 by playing the flute, he discovers his passion for the drums two years later. Therefore, he starts playing with different bands and gets his first professionnel work at the age of 17, with the singer RoBERT(playing in venues such as: L'Olympia, La Cigale (Paris)...; recordings sessions: studio and live : "Six pieds sous Terre","Princess of Nowhere", "Live à la Cigale", "Live à L'Espace Cardin"...; TV programs...). &nbsp After studying musicology, he enrols for the One Year Diploma at London's Drumtech School in 2007. There, he'll graduate with dinstinction and awarded as " best performer" of the year. &nbsp During that time he has performed and recorded with various artists such as:RoBERT, Bill Sheffield, Nith-HAIAH, Eric Rodange, Sabrina, Cyclosis, Grunky, Cyril Maguy...
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Interested in any kind of music, Guillaume is now looking forward to extend his repertoire with new collaborations, either on stage or in studio.

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Né en France, en 1984 à Poitiers, Guillaume collabore actuellement à différents projets, en tant que batteur/percussioniste avec: la chanteuse RoBERT; Cyril Maguy, et depuis peu avec le groupe anglais Slow Panic.

&nbsp Après avoir commencé la musique à l'âge de 8 ans par la flûte, il découvre sa passion pour la batterie deux ans plus tard. Dès lors, il commence à jouer dans diverses formations, et fait ses premieres expériences professionnelles à l'âge de 17 ans avec la chanteuse RoBERT(concerts dans de prestigieuses salles (l'Olympia, La Cigale...)enregistrements studios et live ("Six pieds sous Terre", "Princess of Nowhere", "Live à La Cigale", "Live à L'Espace Cardin", émissions de TV(M6, France2...). &nbsp Après des études en Musicologie, il suit, en 2007, une formation d'un an à la Drumtech de Londres. Il decrochera son diplome avec distinction ainsi que le prix de "best performer" de l'année.
&nbsp Parallèlement à cela, il a l'occasion d'enregistrer et de jouer auprès d'artistes variés,tels que RoBERT, Bill Sheffield, Nith-HAIAH, Eric Rodange, Sabrina, Cyclosis, Grunky, Cyril Maguy...
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Intéressé par tout type de musique, Guillaume ne demande qu'à enrichir son répertoire, par de nouvelles collaborations, aussi bien sur scène qu'en studio.
