hiii. my name is laura, and i am so lucky. i am getting everything that i have ever wanted, and it is all because of my fiance, russell. i got engaged on october 12, 2007 to the most amazing man i have ever known. i have never been so happy in my whole life than when i am with him. he accepts me for all of my faults (not that there are many haha) and for my crazy past, and just looks into our future. my life has gotten so much better since the first time i kissed him. i can not wait to spend the rest of my life with him. we just had our first baby girl, brooke alyson dipesa. the pregnancy was rough, the delivery wasnt easy, and the next couple of days werent either...but it was all worth! she is absolutly beautiful. everytime i look at her face i fall in love with her all over again. shes mommys little angel, and daddys little princess. she is definatly going to be a daddys girl seeing as she was born on fathers day! and i can already tell he is going to be wrapped around her long little fingers! i have so many wonderful things to look foward to, and i have even more things to be grateful for. my parents are the best parents in the entire world, my mother is my absolute best friend in the whole wide world, and my dad is who keeps me grounded. my brother is my hero, fighting for our country for almost five years now, and just over one year left to go. he is my hero, and i miss him so sooo much. i cant wait for him to come home, he will be the best overprotective uncle ever! my friends are the coolest people ever. the old ones and the new ones. i know my friends from back home will always always be there for me and that we could go months without speaking, but the minute we get back on the phone it would be like no time has ever passed. i cant say i am a huge fan of this small town i live in now, but the people i have met here are awesome. most of them have become more like sisters than friends. i love animals, probably more than most people. because a lot of people are ignorant, incompetent and get on my nerves. and animals are so much easier to get along with! lol. i have four cats, bo, queen elizabeth, helen and frannie. and i have adopted russells dog, oswald, as my own. and at my parents house i have frankie, the dog i found on the side of the road. and we all miss my hamster herbert...RIP. i am pretty simple, im very laid back, and easily entertained. i love life. and i love having someone to love and spend my life with. but the most important thing about me is russell, because he is the best part of me ♥
Russell, I was at a point when I was ready to give up. I had no hope that my life was going to get any better. That’s when God brought you into my life. I was lost, and trying to find myself in all of the wrong things. I found myself in you. You bring out the best of me, and you are the best part of me. When I am with you, time is still. It’s just the two of us in the world, and nothing else matters. I don’t worry about anything, and I feel safe. I know that nothing bad can happen to me, because I have you. You have filled my life with meaning, and love. I had nothing to lose in my life before, and now that I have you, I have everything to lose. You are the most important thing to me, you are my whole life, you are my everything. I will love you forever.
