Wobble

I am but a lowly retailer of sporting goods.... Proper stuff though.. None of this fashion crap like they have in JJB, JD, Sportsworld etc. Oh no mateys, come and see me if you need stuff like Archery bows,Boxing gloves,Cricket pads,Darts mat,Engraving on your trophy,Football inflator,Great skipping ropes,Hockey stick,Inter Milan badge,Jockstrap,Kite,Leatherman tool,Martial Arts protection,Netball skirt,Orange football socks,Petanque,Quad skates,Racketball racket,Snooker cue,Trophies,Uhlsport goalie gloves,Volleyball net,Weightlifting gear,Xcellent service,Yonex badminton racket,Zoggs swimming fins.......It's all true, I tell thee...In my other world, I'm the drummer in the curiously named PIGGERY BANDANA (..after 2 years, I still don't know what it means!), rock covers band. Based in Bury,we play stuff by the likes of VanHalen,Journey,Rainbow,Whitesnake,Kansas and a ton of Bon Jovi. My instrument of choice is an electronic Roland TD20 custom kit, which for all you doubters out there, is the dogs bollocks. I do have a fabulous new Mapex acoustic kit, but I'm kind of saving that for another project another day. The Roland cuts the mustard for what I'm doing at the moment. I also like to moonlight every now and then and have just finished a series of dates depping for the Steve Ferringo band, which was a hoot to say the least! I'm also up for a spot of Bass and Guitar playing, especially in a jamming situation. I love playing with like-minded musicians, where you just start off agreeing what key to start off in and away you go. I can't understand why so many talented,time-served musicians can't work this way though and have to learn every thing perfectly before they'll go anywhere near a stage. I might have a rant about it in a blog, one of these days as it really gets my gander!In fact, there's a few things i might have a rant about... Watch this space...
