Ampeg or Hiwatt? Fender or laptop? Hamburg, Berlin or Copenhagen? Why choose when you can throw it all into the mix? After all, the music universe is endless.
Olaf Boqwist has been exploring the possibilities of that universe since the 1980s, both as band member and solo artist – from raucous to mellow, from song to soundscape, from drums to bass to guitar, from Blue Kremlin to Dolche and Rossburger Report to Mispelheim. Other influences? Fishing in Sweden, sounds in the distance, machines and their strange harmonies, the margins of the ’80s.
