Ben Brock Live

Ben Brock is an Oklahoma City Native. He lived in Weatherford Oklahoma before establishing himself in St. Louis Missouri. Ben sang in his high school choirs and often sang with his father at church functions and family weddings. His father taught him his first 3 chords and Ben began what would become an amazing career.Ben began singing at a young age and started playing guitar at the age of 18. It wasn't until his move to St. Louis did he begin performing regularly. Ben has played in numerous establishments throughout Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma. His most recent tour included several college towns including his own hometown of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Ben began writing and performing his own songs inspired by the growing pains of a young man with a vision.Ben has been inspired by numerous people. One of which would be his family. They push him and support him to better himself as a singer/songwriter. With his melody's, lyrics, and all the success throughout the years gives Ben comfort to know he can make it as a solo artist. James Taylor has always been an inspiration for him as well as John Mayer, Gavin Degraw, and Jack Johnson. Ben is inspired by artist that pour there heart and soul out in all of the music they do. Listening to Ben Brock you can tell he feels the same way about the music that he plays.Ben co wrote his first song with his dad and step-mom. Feeling homesick, Ben went back home to Oklahoma and began to write "W TOWN". The words were spread out on 5 different pieces of paper when he got back home to St. Louis. At that point Ben laid the lyrics out on the floor and sat there with his guitar and began mixing and matching the lyrics, chords, and melody together. After "WTOWN" was written he continued to write songs of his own and co write other songs as well with other artist, like Ben's good friend Tylan. Look for these songs to be posted soon.
