I’m frequently quiet and serenely detached — diagonally parked in a parallel universe. In an effort to avoid disappearing into the dystopian nightmare that life up north was gradually becoming; I moved to the rural heartland of Southern Illinois. It’s not exactly a panacea, but I’m kinda looking forward to the laid back, steamy summer nights — sharing cocktails and smoky barbeques with family and new friends perhaps. It’s been a tightrope walk between positive and negative forces up to this point, and my focus is on staying positive.
