I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

Hiya, I'm Amanda. I'm in the world's finest Navy and recently I moved from Japan back to Tennessee. Things are very different and I'm trying to readjust. Let's see, I'm super friendly and like to see/try new things. Anyhow, I'm on myspace to try and keep up with friends from the past and possibly make a few new ones too.

My Interests

I love seeing new places and trying new things. I've lived in England and Japan and seen random places like Russia and Austraila to name a few. I'm not really into playing sports. I like going to the gym and doing things at my own pace. Last year I tried snowboarding for the first time and loved it...especially after I got lessons!!! And I love music! I'm playing catchup after being away for the past few years. Oh and I guess you could say I'm into tattoos.

I'd like to meet:

Someone with a great sense of humor, somewhat sarcastic at times, friendly, and intelligent enough to carry on a conversation...Honest, caring, and affectionate.

Music:

My ipod has a little of everything on it...somehow I have some harder bands, hair bands, punk, ska, R&B, pop, alternative, classical, EMO, oldies, and things in spanish (hum, I wonder how...Archie!!) I still wonder how it all survives in one ipod.

Movies:

Who doesn't like seeing a good movie? I like pretty much everything. And I'm jumpy, so I'm always good to laugh at during horror flix.

Television:

Currently hooked on Heroes.

Books:

Laurell K. Hamilton...gotta love the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books...Thanks Capt Karisma! Yeah yeah, I know. I recently read The Alchemist. It was great, it gave me lots to think about.

Heroes:

The jury is still out on that one...

Back in Japan

Well, I survived 15 hours of flights yesterday and the 3 hour train ride back to my place.  I'm a little sore today from sleeping on a strange bed, but I'm glad to be home.  I got everything...
