About us:
Welcome, to the Party People Promotions formerly Itchi Baba Promotions MySpace page. We have been promoting the Caribbean culture in the United States for the past 15 years. Based in New York we also promote events in Miami, Washington DC, Baltimore & Toronto Canada.
Our Goals:
PPP’s goal is to take our Caribbean culture all over the world by bringing top local artist from the Caribbean to entertain the US based Caribbean community. Top performers such as, Machel Monatano & Xtatik, Traffic, Square One, Atlantic & many more have been instrumental in building our name throughout the years.
The Island:
The majority of our events during the summer months are held at “The Island†our newly launched venue located at 4400th Glenwood Rd. Corner of Troy avenue. This spacious outdoor venue is opened to all on Sundays for liming with friends from 4pm to 11pm.
Annual Events:
We kick off our annual events on memorial Saturday with the All White Boat Ride, followed by our July 4th “All Inclusive Partyâ€. This year the theme is “Blue Safari†and is being held at the Island on July 1. Our Ultimate Cooler fete is at the ending of July. On Labor Day Saturday, there is The “Three the Hardway Feteâ€. Finally, to close out our annual events, we show our appreciation to our supporters during Thanksgiving weekend with our “Appreciation Fete.â€
Giving Back:
PPP believe in giving back in someway so we participate in fund raising events. Our most recent give back was during Katrina in Atlanta. Collaborating with other promoters to host the Benefete boat ride, all proceeds from this event went to aid in the relief effort for the Katrina Victims.
