About Me

World class studio/engineer/mixer available world wide. I want to make your CD sound like the Pro's! Just email me, and I'll get back to you with a quote. Then drop your files on my Public Folder, or send them via mail. I'll mix/master them to your liking. It's that easy! Now you can sound like a "Hollywood Recording Studio" from anywhere on the planet! Engineering/Mixing/Mastering, Any format. Digital or analog...your choice. Don't take a chance at some local studio with an engineer that gets "local" sound quality...I can do for you what used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, a Major label and a trip to Hollywood, for a FRACTION of the price! God bless the internet! I have engineered/mixed or produced well over 80 national and international releases for some of the biggest names in the buisness...many legendary! I created the RIT program at Musicians Institute and was Department Head for 8 years, and still teach there. Plus..I'm a MUSICIAN...I understand! So tell me what you want and get ready to be amazed with the quality you'll receive. Check my credits in the pic's or on myspace/tjhelmerich or tjhelmerich.com for now...until I get this site fully up and running. Here's a partial client list:Stanley Clarke- Neville Bros- Ron Wood- Tribal Tech- Friday (the movie)- Jeff Beck- Steve Vai- Dweezil Zappa- Dennis Chambers- Dave Weckl- Virgil Donati- Scott Henderson- Steve Smith- Ric Fierabracci- James Labrie- Vital Tech Tones- Gambale/Hamm/Smith- Kofi Baker- Victor Wooten ...and many more! All listed credits are for ENGINEERING/MIXING/MASTERING/MUSICIAN. Always check that a credit is legit before believing the hype. Many people list clients that they have never really engineered. They simply made coffee, did a pro tools edit, assistant engineered(patched in some cables for the real engineer) or did tech work for them (hooked up the console or fixed a mike) So do your homework before hiring anyone to represent your music. Just like music...audio engineering is all about "EARS"...not gear. Of course the two combined is the magic combo! Thanks for checking out the site, and I hope to work with you in the near future...God bless.Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsJyuFBVbhY It's an interview from Musicians Institute
