.. - Antoine Dufour..Andrew Hosker is a young musician from Luton, Bedfordshire. As well as playing local acoustic gigs, Andrew frequntly offers his guitaring skills to anyone who needs them; for musicals, recording purposes, playing in backing bands/groups, comping, charity functions...etc. He also is the guitarist in the Luton Youth Jazz Orchestra . With this group he has played many gigs at festivals, birthdays, weddings and other functions and also got through to the finals for the national competition "Music for Youth" where LYJO went on to play at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the School Proms.As well as playing at the Royal Albert Hall, Andrew has performed at The Rhythms of the World Festival in Hitchin, has toured the Island of Malta and performed live on Matlese TV, and regularly plays many local pubs and clubs in the Luton area.His influences vary from classical to folk, blues to electronica and everything in between. Six years after starting out on piano at a young age, Andrew picked up the guitar and found his sound with this new instrument. Seven years on, he has finally got round to recording and sharing his work with the public and has also started gigging solo acoustics gigs. Along the way he has also picked up other instruments and holds an open mind when listening to new music and artists.Andrew is aspiring to write more instrumental guitar ballads after being heavily influenced by guitarists such as Antoine Dufour , Andy McKee and Amrit Sond .As a keen musician, He is always open and readily availible for acoustic gigs, and is willing to offer his services as a well rounded guitarist to anyone in need. Currently, Andrew is looking to get involved in as many different projects in and around his local area such as: Acoustic Duos, Funk bands, Blues bands, Jazz bands, Function bands...etcKeep coming back to listen to his music as he is always in the studio writting and recording new songs!
