About Me

Motorsport is POP!
Motorpop Comics is descended from the passion to Formula 1 and Pop Art. The company is the result of a stubborn project to create "popular" motorsport cartoons. Since 1998 Motorpop's cartoons have appeared in several motorsport magazines and web sites. Motorpop becomes from the words "Motorsport" and "Pop".
Motorpop is not only a company to distribute art work. If you have a wild imagination, you understand Motorpop as an ideology, a form of cartoon art.
Many people share our ideology, even if they have nothing to do with motorsports. That's why Motorpop Comics does creative consultation work like designs logos and graphics for several clients. Just contact us, working with us is fun and something totally new!
In 2007 Motorpop was appearing in several motor sport medias like a Finnish Motorsport magazine Vauhdin Maailma, web magazine Urheiluviikko and on website www.f1-toons.com . 2007 was the year when actual company, Motorpop Comics, was founded.
Motorpop is published by one of the largest media house in Finland, Yhtyneet Kuvalehdet. Motorpop is also mentioned on the Finnish Automobile Sport Federation site.

Since 2007 Motorpop has become even more "pop". Formula 1 is global sports and if you are a crazy petrol head, you probably see some of the Motorpop on several Formula 1 forums like F1-live, Autosport and F1-forum. So where ever you are, you'll always have access to see Motorpop.
No matter if you are just a fanatic petrol head, Kimi Räikkönen, Fernando Alonso, Ron Dennis or even a designer in one of the Formula 1 teams, you are a character of the Motorpop.
Motorpop is from the pencil of the Finnish Formula 1 cartoonist Antti Vuorijärvi.
