LG is a powerful drummer who has played with several Dalecarlian (Dalecarlia = Dalarna is a Swedish region) bands during the years. Among them we find Mandate, Blues Junction, the 70s hard rock constellation Junction (available on vinyl), the experimental Watertouch (available on CD), Scarlet Street (a great band with an even more fascinating frontman - singer, guitarist and songwriter - from Newcastle-upon-Tyne) and the bluesy band SMOKESTACK (available at this space exclusively - so far). ||And well, you know, when the lights turn green it's full speed ahead. GREEN LIGHT is a four-piece outfit playing a kind of hard bluesy rock, flat out you might say. The band plays Johnny Winter, Deep Purple, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Healey, Jimi Hendrix, and stuff like that. It’s done with an edge, crisp and rough at the same time. Kjell Öhman, the guitarist, has worked with numerous bands. One example is T-Bones, a combo which is available on CD. Christer Cedergren, a.k.a. Cidde, used to play with - among others - Boccabandet and his own band Cidde's finest and is a dexterous bass player with a great and fat sound. Anders Larsson is an extremely talented musician - he handles Hammond and piano with power and elegance, and he's also a prize accordionist (check his MySpace now, folks!). ||LG's apparent God of the Drums is Ian Paice of Deep Purple, but when asked about idols he also mentions a bunch of other kings of speed, as Brian Downey (Thin Lizzy) and the Rainbow era Cozy Powell.LG uses Yamaha and Pearl drums, and Zildjian and Paiste cymbals.
