About Me

If you're interested in hearing what we have up to now go to http://www.soundclick.com/1850project More songs than we can fit on here! Comment if you listen
The Name 1850 Project came about via two things; The band is a creation for a one-off gig in 2009 to celebrate Jon's 18th Birthday, and Neil's 50th birthday, on the 28th and 29th of March.
The current format for recording is that Jon and Neil will be the only recording artists on the album, both covering all the instruments, and that Tony, family-friend, solo musician and bassist for Flesh-resonance, amongst other projects, will be playing bass for us, whilst Chris, Jon's cousin, Neil's nephew, and drummer for the foundry, as well as many of Jon's past bands, will be playing drums for the live gig in 2009. Tony and Chris may also make an appearence on the album for a small number of individual tracks.
Although recording may continue after the gig in 2009; it is the only planned live appearence of the band.
Our songs consist of some of Neil's old songs, occasionally re-interpreted; New songs by Neil; and songs by Jon, as well as co-written songs.
Can i say thankyou to Bob Veon for providing us with the following image: Bob is on our top friends, please check out his other stuff.
