Alexandros Kapatais

Alexandros Kapatais was born in July 1976 in Sofia-Bulgaria. His origin is Greek-Bulgarian-Turkish. His mother bulgarian and his father greek from Istanbul.Aiolobio is a made up word from Aiolos (ancient greek god of wind) and the suffix bio... it could probably mean;the one who is nurtured by the wind...As a child and a young boy was listenining only Heavy Metal - Ozzy Osbourne was everywhere - self made clothes with Ozzy designs, posters etc...so liked to make some noise plucking a classic guitar although never being good at it enough, decided one day to tap the keys of his sister's piano...thus the journey of self teaching began... In 1999 he bought a Yamaha PSR...and started to compose some songs... I'll upload some songs of this era just for you to listen to it if you want of course... The Pivotal Force behind this desire to compose was Vangelis and Jarre for me the Greatest Masters of All Times... ---back to the BIO thing--- Aiolobio is composing music since 2000 by means of synthesizer and computer. He has studied Illustration (1995 National Academy of Fine Arts Bulgaria) and audio - engineering at (SAE 2001)although quiting from both studies, continued the profound search of arts from a different perspective, the one that comes from within... In 1997 served in the Greek Special Forces (Compulsory Military) In 1999 worked as a Security Guard for the Stock Market in Athens, and studies japanese language as long as the job lasts... In 2003 got married in Brasil and took a brasilian Id for present... (Most of the songs you have heard here are from this period, like Atlantis which was recorded in the Music Academy of Curitiba - Paraná) -studies also portuguese language in the University of Curitiba. In 2004 worked as audio engineer AOB (Athens Olympic Broadcasting) In 2005 worked as camera assistant for NET (Greek Television)... In 2006 worked as crane assistant for TOBO (Torino Olympic Broadcasting) In summer 2006 at the tourist information desk of Meridian (Tourist Agency) in the airport of Myconos Island... In 2007 gets kicked out off his house because he is composing too much and his brasilian girl abandons him... Anyway he will always love her and he'll do his best to benefit from this present - be a better person etc... rest of 2007 recuperation--- works in tourism again for MDC(Taiwan) as a tour operator... Beginning of 2008 gets pissed off and quits again and again and again... ...that sounds like Cure... into the trees......two tracks have been streamed in greek TV and radio. And one track in a U.S. radio station...not a big a deal but that's up to now...Plans and Goals; Music and Art, weather as a solo artist or co-creation with other artists, research in all kind of areas by intuitive means... Open to all kind of suggestions concerning Art & Life as a way of livng...
