Friday, March 07, 2008"THE FLAG" Love America and Cherish Freedom ?If you care about AMERICA or Cherish Freedom from anywhere in the world please read this!Friends after being somewhat troubled by the news on TV of late. We felt the need to write a new song. We came up with "The Flag". There are some very influential people that can get it noticed by the rest of America and the country could use it. If you listen to "The Flag", you'll know right away if you want to help. The issue addressed in this song is about the many people, that just because they disagree on some issues with others, think the answer is to just quit liking the USA, instead of trying to fix problems. The recording of this song on our myspace is story, impart right from our own lives. Starting with going off to our Elementary school. We had the same 1st grade teacher (Mrs. Packard). She felt it important for us to "Pledge Allegiance to the Flag" and we did. She also felt it would help instill good values, if we, as young children learned a few songs about our country. Many people today, would probably take offense at this, since some American patriotic songs have the word GOD in them. Whatever your beliefs are, have them…It's a free country..feel or speak whatever you want. Does it really hurt any of us, or America as a whole, for the traditional songs about America or the "Pledge of Allegiance" to be allowed. It says "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our money for Petes sake! Not to mention words used in "The Declaration of Independence", "The U.S. Constitution", "The Gettysburg Address" and many other iconic American symbols . We're not asking anyone to lean Republican, Democrat..whatever!. Your stance on religion, well it's a free country. We hope you'll listen to the story and ask…is any part of the American culture worth saving? To be so politically correct as to turn ones back on everything about the American culture (a country that was formed of immigrants from people all over the world) could turn out a bad thing and impossible to get back. We wrote this song for the message in it.. Hoping for your help in contacting as many influential people in TV and radio etc. With these people taking an interest in it, who have thousands, in some cases millions of watchers, listeners, or readers...things could really change. One thing to remember is that, these people of great influence on the national level anyway, get thousands or even millions of emails, so for there to be any chance of getting through to them, it will take a lot. In short, we hope you can send as many emails as you can, as often as you can, for best chance of success. We know how busy life can get for many, even if you believe in this songs ideals, you might not to be able to be help. That's life, but a wish for luck, telling a friend, or whatever would be appreciated. We think AMERICA IS WORTH IT . . .
