My name is Samantha. I was born and raised in Illinois in the suburbs of Chicago. I love my life as a Marine wife and wouldn't have it any other way! I am in love with taking pictures of random things and playing video games. I am a friendly person unless you piss me off. I love my family, blood and in-laws! I would love to travel to many places but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I would especially like to take a trip to Europe and China. I have habits of crying when I am super happy and when I am surprised and I don't care who sees it. I am married to a United States Marine and we are stationed at MCAS Miramar. He is a loving and caring Father and Husband. He is one of the hardest workers I know and when he gets determined, there isn't much than can stop him. We have already survived one deployment and are preparing for round 2 in July. We have a son together and his name is Joseph. He was born April 17, 2006. He is such a little sweetie pie. He is very independent but still loves to play with other children. He is very caring and if he can tell there is anything wrong he will walk over to you and give you a hug and a kiss. We are originally from Chicago. Kinda miss the place but not. Can't really explain it. I would love to live on the East Coast but I don't like the idea of being so far from family when I don't have to be. California is just a bonus. I would like to go through the Marine Corps bootcamp without becoming a Marine. I know that makes absolutely no sense but that is what I would like to do. I would love to learn how to fly a jet or a helicopter or something along those lines. I am a KV (Key Volunteer) in my "spare" time. I really enjoy doing it because I feel I am helping my husband's Command/unit. I find it very rewarding. BTW, I LOVE to play Pogo lol.
THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS... is over 230 years of romping, stomping, hell, death and destruction. The finest fighting machine the world has ever seen. We were born in a Bomb Crater, Our Mother was an M-16 & Our Father was the Devil. Each moment that I live is an additional threat upon your life. I am a rough looking, roving soldier of the sea. I am cocky, self-centered, overbearing, and do not know the meaning of fear, for I am fear itself. I am a green amphibious monster, made of blood and guts, who arose from the sea, feasting on anti-Americans throughout the globe. Whenever it may arise, and when my time comes, I will die a glorious death on the battlefield, giving my life for Mom, the Corps, and the American Flag. We stole the eagle from the Air Force, the anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we over-ran his perimeter and stole the globe, and we've been running the show ever since. We live like soldiers and talk like sailors and slap the Hell out of both of them. Fighter by day, lover by night, drunkard by choice, Marine by the grace of God.
